Halloween party for pets to feature costume contest, tips for keeping your pet healthy and safe on Halloween
Who / What: Deer Creek Animal Hospital is hosting a Halloween costume party for pets and their owners to share the holiday spirit, as well as important information about keeping pets safe during Halloween festivities.
When: Thursday, Oct. 30, 4 – 7 p.m.
Where: Deer Creek Animal Hospital -- 10148 W. Chatfield Ave(Chatfield and Kipling).
Visuals: Pets dressed up in a variety of Halloween costumes and competing in a contest for best pet costumes, best pet/pet owner costume look-a-like, and more.
Why: “Halloween is a fun time for families, children and our four-legged friends,” said Dan Brod, DVM of Deer Creek Animal Hospital. “However, Halloween can be a frightening and potentially dangerous time for pets.
”Deer Creek Animal Hospital encourages pet owners to protect their four-legged family members this Halloween, paying particular attention to their access to food/treats, the home environment, costumes, and planning ahead for any trouble that may occur.
