Certified Technicians
Our nurses at Deer Creek Animal Hospital are certified veterinary technicians, which means they have completed a two year associate degree and have passed examinations administered by the state board. Technicians are required to complete continuing education courses to maintain certification. Since our hospital offers clients a broad range of services utilizing state of the art medical equipment, our technicians have the opportunity to learn and utilize many skills.
Veterinary Assistants
Our veterinary assistants are not required to obtain an associate degree and are typically students who want to become veterinarians or certified technicians. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the veterinary field by assisting doctors with appointments, surgeries and laboratory procedures.
Receptionists
Our receptionists at Deer Creek Animal Hospital play a vital role in the success of our hospital team. As customer service professionals, our receptionists provide a knowledgeable and caring environment for our clients.
Kennel Assistants
Our kennel assistants are important caretakers in our modern kennel facility. This is a great job opportunity for students over the age of sixteen to gain valuable experience in an animal hospital. We are always looking for responsible individuals with a genuine love for animals. Deer Creek Animal Hospital works closely with area high schools to provide internships and doctor shadowing opportunities.
Volunteers
Deer Creek Animal Hospital has developed a volunteer program for children over the age of fourteen to observe five hours at the hospital.
