May 15, 2017 – Kelly Jones, DVM, has joined the staff of Deer Creek Animal Hospital (DCAH).
A graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, she worked in both a small animal practice and an emergency service practice in Florida before moving to Colorado to join DCAH. Her passions include dermatology, dentistry and internal medicine.
“I’m thrilled at the opportunity to join the Deer Creek Animal Hospital team of professionals who have created and deliver 24/7 service and a practice that is truly focused on the best patient care,” said Jones. “On top of all of that, I get to call Colorado my new home and take full advantage of the incredible outdoor lifestyle.”
Jones joins a staff that includes 18 veterinarians with special interests in acupuncture, ophthalmology, dentistry, orthopedic surgery and ultrasound. In addition, to general wellness and preventive care, the hospital has staff specialists in dermatology and oncology.
“We’re delighted to be able to expand our professional resources through the addition of a highly skilled veterinarian like Kelly,” said Deer Creek Co-Founder, Dr. Ray Cox. “Consistent with our commitment to high quality and compassionate care, we’re pleased to have Dr. Jones as a part of our staff and know that she’s going to be a great resource for our clients.”
Founded in 1984 by Drs. Ray Cox and Dan Brod as a small, neighborhood veterinary practice serving the medical needs of companion pets, the hospital has evolved into a full-service hospital offering 24/7 emergency services 365 days a year. DCAH veterinarians and staff members offer experience and special interests for dog and cat owners in a single location for the medical needs of all pets.
