Founded in 1984 by Dan Brod, DVM and Ray Cox, DVM, Deer Creek Animal Hospital provides a full range of medical care for dogs and cats in the Denver metropolitan area. With 13 veterinarians and 60 staff, our animal hospital delivers “premier care with the compassion every pet and pet owner deserves.”

Our state-of-the-art facility offers 10 examination rooms, digital radiology and ultrasound, an advanced dental care center, two fully equipped operating rooms, a grieving room, and a luxury boarding facility featuring a swimming pool and a webcam to monitor your pet.

In addition to our focus on preventive care, our doctors have special interests which include internal medicine, geriatric medicine, dentistry, gastroenterology, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, arthroscopy, behavioral counseling, traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture and emergency medicine. Our staff also features board certified specialists in oncology and dermatology.

Our professional staff is well trained and equipped to handle emergencies and extreme cases. We hold the highest level of accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association – a status held by less than 15% of animal hospitals in the country. In addition, we are a teaching hospital, hosting a wide range of programs, externships and other educational opportunities for pet care professionals from across the world.
